Officials from Rockville and Pepco came together for a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 15 to mark the launch of two public electric vehicle charging stations.
The chargers, located on Vinson Street near City Hall, are part of a partnership between Rockville and Pepco.
A DC fast charger will be installed in Rockville’s Thomas Farm Community Center (700 Fallsgrove Drive), and four Level 2 chargers will be added at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park (1800 Piccard Drive). Pepco will manage and maintain the new stations, the city said.
