According to Montgomery County Police, a collision between a yellow box truck and an SUV occurred on Gude Drive near the Dover Road intersection at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
A witness to the scene reports the truck was wedged on the median strip in the southbound lane and was missing a front driver side wheel. A white SUV was in the northbound lanes of Gude Drive in the process of being towed. It has sustained damage to its front driver side bumper and wheel.
The accident tied up traffic in both directions for at least half an hour. Both vehicles remained on the scene. One adult was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
