Rockville City Police and Metro Transit Police are seeking a suspect in connection to two stabbings that occurred Sunday night at and near the Twinbrook Metro Station.
The two victims were taken to area hospitals and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police
An adult male was stabbed shortly before 5:30 p.m. Metro Transit police officers are investigating this incident.
A few minutes later, Rockville City Police responded to a call about a stabbing in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike, which is near the metro station. An adult male was stabbed in the back, according to police.
The suspect is described as an African American male wearing all black clothing.
Police officers are collecting and analyzing surveillance footage from the area.
Police ask everyone to remain aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to 9-1-1 immediately.
