The holiday season kicks off Friday evening with the Rockville Town Square Lighting Ceremony.
The event will take place at the Rockville Town Square from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a children’s craft station and a special appearance from Santa Claus. Dawn Crafton Dance Connection, King Teddy, and the Richard Montgomery High School choir will be providing local dance and musical performances.
Attendees can expect busier-than-usual parking during the event. Rockville Town Square is two blocks from the Red Metro Line’s Rockville station.
