Montgomery County Police charged Sawsan Al Hadidi of Rockville with bribery and obstruction of justice after she allegedly tried to bribe a Montgomery County Child Welfare Services employee.
According to police, the 42-year-old woman is accused of attempting to pay off an assessment social worker, who had been assigned to investigate claims of sexual abuse against a child.
The county employee reported that on July 26, Al Hadidi said she had a gift and then presented “a large amount of cash.” The investigator refused to take the money and reported the incident.
Al Hadidi has been issued a warrant to appear in court.
