Montgomery Parks will hold its second annual Roller Disco on Friday, May 17 at Ridge Road Park in Germantown from 6 to 8 p.m. The event includes skating, a live DJ and snow cones for purchase from Sno Blast DMV.
There’s no cost for admission, but there will not be any skates available for rental. The department encourages guests to bring their own blankets or chairs, as the park has limited seating.

The roller disco celebrates 1970s and 80s fashion and music, complete with bright colors, tie-dye and bell bottom jeans.
DJ Joe, a Maryland native and graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, will carry the tunes.
Ridge Road Recreational Park is located at 21155 Frederick Road in Germantown. Guests can find more information about parking, roller rink rules and accessibility here.
