Ridge Road at Bloom Drive in Damascus is temporarily closed in both directions due to a two vehicle collision involving a pick up and dump truck.
At around 9 a.m. Thursday, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Squad responded to the incident. MCFRS Emergency Medical and Integrated Healthcare Services is evaluating one adult trauma patient to be transported to the hospital. An individual has been extricated from a trapped vehicle while another fled the scene.
Drivers should detour along Ridge Road at Oak Drive to bypass the collision or seek alternate routes. Units are expected to clear soon.
