Montgomery County Public Libraries celebrates National Vinyl Day Saturday with a festival for music lovers at Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Library.
The annual “Just for the Record – A Vinyl Day” will feature free musical activities for all ages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the library in Silver Spring.
Activities include music making, creating album covers, DJ workshops, and a children’s dance party and storytime. Vinyl records will be available for purchase at a sale organized by the Friends of the Library.
The festival’s keynote speaker, Emmy-nominated DJ Johnny Juice, will speak at 2 p.m., according to the county press release.

MCPL hosts “Just for the Record – A Vinyl Day” in collaboration with Friends of the Library, Classroom 2 Community, Levine Music, Mid-Atlantic Scratch League (MASL), and Radio One.
