A Silver Spring man died from apparent stab wounds inside a business in the 1900 block of 9th Street, Northwest D.C.
Kenneth Thomas Jr., 42, was pronounced dead at the hospital after life-saving efforts failed, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Police responded to the site at about 1 a.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found Thomas suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Police are seeking a Black male with a salt and pepper beard who is between 5-foot-11 inches and six feet tall. Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text the department’s TIP Line by sending a message to 50411. A $25,000 reward is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
