County Residents, Politicians Protest on Presidents Day

Despite the cold and windy weather Monday, Montgomery County residents carried signs and protested at Leisure World, Aspen Hill, Annapolis and Washington, D.C.

An estimated 200 Democrats at Leisure World carried signs against Elon Musk, Tesla (Musk is the CEO) and for the “rule of law.”

Montgomery County Councilmember Natali Fani-González joined a protest in Aspen Hill.

U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen was part of “a nationwide effort to defend our democracy against the illegal actions of autocrats and kleptocrats like [President Donald] Trump and Musk.”
