More good news for golfers in Montgomery County: the South Germantown Driving Range has reopened to the public.
It’s been more than a month since this driving range and other recreational activities were halted across the nation and right here in the county due to the COVID-19 health crisis.
Although it’s open, people will have to abide by certain facility guidelines to help prevent the spread of the virus. The Montgomery Parks website says starting Tuesday, the South Germantown Driving Range will reopen with the following precautions and practices:

In addition, SGDR Driving Range officials say buckets of balls will be sold until one hour before closing time each day.Click here for more information.
Montgomery Parks has started to slowly reopen limited outdoor services. Since May 7, outdoor tennis courts and archery ranges have been open to the public. Campgrounds are expected to reopen soon, and restrictions have also been lifted from boating and fishing recreational activities.
