Rockville City Police will begin issuing citations to speeders near the intersection of southbound Wootton Parkway and Wootton Oats Court on Sept. 30.
A portable speed camera unit was installed there in August.
According to Rockville City Police, citations will be issued for vehicles going over the posted speed limit by 12 miles per hour or more “in a continuing effort to reduce the number of speeding vehicles in Rockville neighborhoods.”
