The City of Gaithersburg sent out an update Wednesday saying that construction is now set to begin on Thursday, weather permitting.

The City of Gaithersburg Department of Public Works will begin microsurfacing construction on multiple city streets on Wednesday, lasting for about four days.
The work will take place during the week, in the neighborhoods of Pheasant Run and Whetstone Run, and on Summit Hall road north of Brighton Drive until the end. Construction will go from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Parking on the street will be restricted. Signs will be placed around the area at least 48 hours before work begins to let residents know the dates and times of any regulations.
