The Super Bowl LVIII returns this Sunday with the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs facing off at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Last year’s Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl set the record for the most-watched telecast in history, with an average of 115.1 million viewers across all platforms. This year, more than 200 million U.S. adults are expected to tune in to the game, according to a survey from the National Retail Federation.
If you’re planning to watch the game at your favorite local restaurant or bar or from the comfort of your own home, here are some suggestions:
Caddie’s Bar and Grill
This Bethesda restaurant, located at 4922 Cordell Ave., will televise the Super Bowl across 40 TVs and a large projector and has a Super Bowl menu with wings, pizza and sandwiches. Caddie’s was voted the best bar scene in 2024 by Bethesda Magazine readers.
McGinty’s Public House
Located at 911 Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring, the Irish pub will show the game on a HD big-screen projector and multiple TVs and will offer a variety of food and drink specials.
Mon Ami Gabi
The French bistro located at 7239 Woodmont Ave. in Bethesda will have a game day brunch on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring sparkling brunch cocktails and plates of French cuisine.
Sports & Social
This Pike & Rose restaurant features an 18-foot mega screen and has an offer for $25 premium seating that comes with a free beer or non-alcoholic beverage. The restaurant is currently accepting reservations and offers a variety of specials on food and drinks, including wings, burgers and sandwiches.
At Home
The game will be televised live on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. on CBS and Paramount+. Entertainment will start at 6 p.m. before the kickoff a half an hour later. The halftime show, performed this year by Usher, will start around 8:30 p.m. For the first time, Nickelodeon will have a family-friendly broadcast that incorporates characters from the network and kid-themed graphics.
