Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) continue to investigate a July 2 attempted armed robbery of a Wing Stop restaurant in Montgomery Village.
Just after 11 p.m., police responded to the restaurant located in the 20200 block of Goshen Road for the report of an attempted armed robbery.
“The investigation by detectives has determined that the suspect entered the restaurant, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money. When observing another employee talking on a cell phone, the suspect turned around and exited the restaurant,” according to MCPD.
Police released the following surveillance video and ask the public to help identify the suspect:
Anyone with information is urged to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. MCPD offers a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect.
