Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to the alleged murder of 18-year-old Kennedy Merritt-Millet, who was fatally shot on June 22 in the Fairland area near Greencastle Road and Turbridge Drive.
Authorites were notified that John Delonte Black, Jr. and Annbel Sierra Massilon – both 18 years old – turned themselves in at the Montgomery County warrant turn-in facility on Tuesday around 11:00 a.m.
Investigators say they received several tips, which ultimately led to the suspects turning themselves in.
Black, Jr. has been charged with first-degree murder, and Massilon has been charged with robbery.
Police say Black Jr. is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center.
