Not long ago, the online website Thrillist declared Takoma Park “The Best Hippie Town in Maryland.” But recently, it’s not all love beads and granola in this funky county suburb.
Somehow, a children’s playground has turned into a battleground, pitting city officials against residents.
MY MCM placed numerous calls to a variety of Takoma Park officials to hear their side of this story but received no response. Moving forward, the moms plan to explore ways to get permits for future sidewalk child-oriented adventures.
