Takoma Park Police Department (TPPD) cancels the National Faith & Blue Block Party for October 12.
TPPD said the Faith & Blue event coincided with Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish Calendar, and apologized for the oversight. TPPD said they would reschedule the event for everyone to participate.
