Dublas Avalos, 18, of Hyattsville was charged with possession of cocaine and fentanyl on Feb, 24, Takoma Park Police Chief Antonio DeVaul announced.
Police officers were patrolling in the 1300 block of University Boulevard when they noticed Avalos being escorted out of Walgreens by an employee following a trespass notice. Police took Avalos into custody for trespassing.
Following a search, police found enough cocaine and fentanyl pills in amount indicative of an intent to sell, according to police.
Avalos was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. His preliminary hearing is set for March 22.
