Takoma Park Police continue to investigate an armed robbery on Wednesday evening involving a suspect on a scooter. The rider approached the victim who was performing landscaping work and demanded money.
The suspect reached into his waistband and implied he had a gun. So the victim handed over his wallet. The suspect took the cash and fled eastbound on Ethan Allen Avenue on the scooter. A search was conducted but the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build, around 25 years old. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing and a black ski mask. The scooter was white.
Investigators ask anyone with information about this incident, or the identity of the suspect to contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #240047087.
