Police said an 18-year-old allegedly assaulted multiple women who were walking or jogging in Clarksburg this week.
Ibn Muhammad Rosario, of Clarksburg, was arrested and charged with four counts of fourth-degree sexual offense and four counts of second-degree assault, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims; they are urged to contact the 5th District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240-773-6263.
According to police, Rosario allegedly assaulted at least four women around Snowden Farm Parkway and Little Seneca Parkway on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Police said he reportedly groped or touched the victims and in two cases made lewd comments.
Each victim reported the assaults and provided a suspect description. According to police, officers increased patrols in the area, and on Thursday, an officer saw Rosario approach someone and grope her. The victim defended herself and Rosario ran, police said, and officers apprehended him. According to police, he was out on pre-trial supervision when he was arrested. Rosario is currently being held without bond.
