A teenager is in the hospital after being hit by a car in Montgomery Village Tuesday morning.
The accident closed East Village Avenue for almost three hours starting around 7 a.m. between Heritage Farm Drive and Plum Creek Drive.
Pete Piringer, Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS), said in an X post emergency services evaluated one teenager and that there was a trauma patient.
The teenager was sent to the hospital and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to WTOP.
