The Family Forum on Fentanyl Series continues on Saturday, March 25. Organized by Montgomery Goes Purple, workshops will be conducted at Paint Branch High School at 14121 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville from 9 a.m. until noon.
Parents/guardians, students, staff, and community members can choose from any number of sessions offered. The sessions will be conducted in both English and Spanish.
Topics for the morning include:
- Starting substance use conversations
- Healthy boundaries vs. “Tough Love”
- Emergency response
- Safety at home and at school
Students can earn SSL hours. A resource fair, refreshments and Covid-19 vaccinations will also be available at the site.
