Myles Frost, who became the youngest actor (22) to win best lead actor in a musical for his performance in MJ: The Musical in 2022, graduated from Bowie State University in December.
Frost, a Wootton High School alum who was born in Silver Spring and grew up in Montgomery County and Washington, D.C., graduated with a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in music technology. He started his collegiate education at Belmont University in Nashville.
Frost won the Tony for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Michael Jackson. In 2023, Frost received a Grammy nomination for the cast recording of the show.
The singer/actor/dancer/writer/producer currently appears in the biographical drama, Origin, written and directed by Ava DuVernay. In his first movie role, Frost plays Trayvon Martin, a 17 year-old who was fatally shot by George Zimmerman in Sanford, FL in 2012.
Frost will be reprising his role as Michael Jackson in MJ: The Musical when the show opens at the Prince Edward Theater in London in March.
