A tornado that touched down in Poolesville Wednesday evening and ripped through Olney and Gaithersburg caused injuries, entrapments, downed trees and power outages, most of them in Gaithersburg according to PEPCO.
Some of the damage reported according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue (MCFRS):
-3 Holly Drive in Gaithersburg: suffered structural collapse with entrapment. Four occupants were removed. One was pinned. All five were transported to a local hospital.
-400 Dogwood Drive near Tulip Drive in Gaithersburg: structure collapse with people trapped.
-200 Rolling Road in Gaithersburg: structure collapse with entrapment.
