A tractor-trailer fire on the southbound I-270 Spur blocked lanes Thursday night.
The driver was accounted for, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
It happened in the area of the Bethesda school bus depot.
Piringer stated hazmat would be helping due to a fuel spill — there was a damaged fuel tank. All southbound lanes at the spur were blocked Thursday night.
