A fallen tree that struck a home on New York Avenue in Takoma Park displaced two adults and their two dogs and two cats.
According to Pete Piringer, spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS), a large tree struck the corner of a home near its chimney, where a fire was blazing.
