La leyenda del baloncesto Kobe Bryant murió en un accidente de helicóptero en Calabasas, California, el domingo por la mañana. El accidente también cobró la vida de la hija de Bryant, Gianna, de 13 años, y otros siete pasajeros cuyos nombres aún no han sido revelados oficialmente.
Bryant, de 41 años, quien jugó toda su carrera de 20 años con los Lakers de Los Ángeles, fue 18 veces estrella, el cuarto máximo anotador de todos los tiempos de la NBA, 5 veces campeón de la NBA y dos veces Medallista de oro olímpico.
Los atletas, locales, nacionales y de todo el mundo, expresaron su conmoción en las redes sociales para expresar su conmoción, dolor y respeto por Bryant y oraciones por la familia Bryant.
