U.S. Rep. David Trone (D-6th) and Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks spent an hour Friday night trying to make their case to voters why they would be the best choice to succeed Ben Cardin in the U.S. Senate.
The candidates discussed their vision of the economy, budget, foreign affairs, crime and law enforcement and reproductive rights.
The winner of the Democratic primary on May 14 will then face the Republican candidate. Former Governor Larry Hogan is favored in that race.
