A suspect in Tuesday’s shooting in Germantown has not been apprehended, according to Montgomery County Police.
At about 7:45 p.m., May 23, police responded to a shooting in the 19000 block of Misty Meadow Terrace. Officers found an adult male suffering from apparent gun shot wounds. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No bystanders were injured.
Councilmember Marilyn Balcombe noted in a tweet that this was the third shooting incident in Germantown in the past few weeks. “We must get these guns off the street,” she tweeted.
She thanked county police “for your efforts to make our community safer.”
