Mario Lopez will host a holiday kickoff concert at Westfield Montgomery mall on Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attendees who RVSP for this event have a chance to meet Lopez, host of NBC’s “Access Hollywood”, “Access Daily” and former star of “Saved by The Bell,” according to the Westfield Montgomery mall.
The event celebrates the mall’s partnership with Children’s National Hospital Medical Center and Seacrest Studios within the hospital. Although the celebration is free, funds will directly benefit childhood patients. Westfield Montgomery will match donations made up to $10,000 according to the mall’s website.
The celebration will include performances by a string quartet and holiday-themed covers by a tribute band, The Little Mermen, The Maryland Youth Ballet, and The Washington Nationals Racing Presidents according to the website.
Contributions will continue to be collected at the mall throughout the holiday season to benefit Seacrest Studios at Children’s National Hospital. Seacrest Studios gives opportunities for patients to have an interactive space to explore radio, television, and social media during their hospital stay according to the Children’s National website.
