Montgomery College is hosting a free concert by the United States Navy Band this Friday, April 12.
The prestigious concert band will perform a series of pieces with guest conductor Dr. Rebecca Philips, Professor of Music and Director of Bands at Colorado State University.
The U.S. Navy Band regularly holds free public concerts throughout the country.
The concert will feature six different pieces including Richard Wagner’s Introduction to Act III of Lohengrin and the New York Hippodrome March by John Philip Sousa.
The event will take place at the college’s Cultural Arts Center from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Admission is free and no tickets are required.
