Las autoridades dijeron que un tren atropelló fatalmente a una persona que caminaba por el túnel entre las estaciones North Bethesda y Grosvenor-Strathmore, el sábado.
El personal de bomberos y rescate del condado ayudó a rescatar a los pasajeros a bordo del tren, según la Policía de Tránsito Metropolitano, y fueron trasladados a un tren de rescate, según el portavoz principal del Servicio de Bomberos y Rescate del Condado, Pete Piringer.
Se evaluó a un par de personas por lesiones.
