A winning Lottery ticket purchased in Silver Spring on Feb. 8 remains unclaimed, according to the Maryland Lottery. The Giant located at 3860 International DriveĀ in Silver Spring sold the ticket for the Feb. 8 multi state Cash4Life drawing.
The winner will receive $1,000 a week for life paid in annual installments of $52,000. The winner can also opt for a one-time cash payment of $1 million before taxes.
The winning numbers are 5, 10, 25, 38 and 57, and the Cash Ball was 4. The winner matched the first five numbers, but did not match the Cash Ball.
The winner has 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. Lottery officials said the winner should sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until claiming the prize.
The Giant will receive a $2,500 bonus from the Lottery for selling a second-tier winning Cash4Life ticket.
Maryland Lottery began offering the Cash4Life game in January 2016. Nine states participate, including Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Tennessee.
Since the game began in June 2014, Cash4Life has had 70 top-prize winners and nine second-tier prize winners, including this win.
