Gov. Larry Hogan will make additional COVID-19 vaccine announcements at a media briefing on Tuesday. The briefing will be streamed live at 2:30 p.m. on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
Watch the briefing below:
The state entered phase 2A of its vaccination plan Tuesday, with all Marylanders 60 and older now eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines.
On March 16, Montgomery County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Director Dr. Earl Stoddard announced that the state has approved a mass vaccination site for Montgomery College’s Germantown campus—an announcement which Hogan later called “premature.” Stoddard stood by his comments on March 17, saying he was confident the site would begin operating before April 1.
At 2:30 p.m. today, I will hold a press conference to make additional COVID-19 vaccine announcements.
