Governor Moore has declared a State of Preparedness in Maryland. Learn more about it here: bit.ly/StateOfPreparedness. A high impact system is set to impact the area today into Wednesday. Flooding rains, coastal flooding, strong winds, and mountain wintry precipitation are all expected. Conditions deteriorate after dark as a brunt of the storm tracks from I-95 toward the Bay. Please remain vigilant, have a plan in place and never drive or walk over a flooded road. Heed all warnings and stay indoors during severe weather. Only use generators outdoors and never in a garage. The generator should be at least 20 feet away from the home and away from window, doors, and vents. Visit weather.gov/lwx for more information.
