The Montgomery County Board of Elections is busiest during election years, collecting mail-in ballots daily. Canvassing began Tuesday.
Dr. Gilberto Zelaya, spokesperson for the Board of Elections, explains that the process requires more than one hundred people during election season. He also outlines the 11 steps involved in one of the most popular voting methods in the county: mail-in voting, where voters place their ballots in drop boxes or send them through the postal service.
Mail-in ballots for the 2024 General Presidential Election must be mailed or deposited in any election drop box by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
