Wheaton Forest Local Park will be without basketball courts for at least one month due to repairs and renovations, Montgomery Parks announced on Monday.
Beginning today (Monday), the basketball courts at Wheaton Forest Local Park will be closed for one month for repairs and renovation.

“The repairs are to fix some low lying areas in the court that hold water due to settlement after the renovation in 2020,” said Montgomery Parks Spokesperson Melissa Chotiner.
In addition to these repairs, residents can also expect to see newly renovated upgrades to the court’s appearance.
“We will also be color coating the courts to be Blue and Green like other courts that have been renovated,” said Chotiner.
According to the Montgomery Parks website, work on the basketball court will take place from “sunrise to sunset.”
