Wheaton’s TGIF Summer Concert Series returns Friday, July 12 and continues through Aug. 30. The weekly series will feature local DMV bands ranging from The Nighthawks to I&I Riddim, a beer and wine garden, and food from local restaurants.
The concerts take place at the Marian Fryer Town Plaza, located at 2424 Reedie Drive and adjacent to the Wheaton Business Triangle and near the Wheaton Metro Station.
Starting July 12 and on Fridays throughout the summer, the TGIF party will begin on the Plaza at 6 p.m. with a DJ set and happy hour followed by a live concert at 7 p.m. Parking is available in the building at 2425 Reedie Drive.
The TGIF series will feature:

- July 19: DeSanguashington
- July 26: SOL Roots
- Aug. 2: Billy Mayfield
- Aug. 9: Gordon Sterling and the People
- Aug. 16: Guys in Thin Ties
- Aug. 23: The Nighthawks
- Aug. 30: Chopteeth
