The National Weather Service has issued a winter a storm watch for Montgomery County from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.
We may see up to five inches of snow, but the weather service says it will most likely be between one to three inches of snow in our area. Winds during the storm could reach as high as 45 mph.
Roads will become slippery during the storm. Monday’s morning commute could be challenging depending on the the amount of snow and freezing precipitation.
The watch includes the District of Columbia, portions of central and northern Maryland, and central and northern Virginia.
