The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for northwest Montgomery County between the hours of 4 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday, and for central and southeast Montgomery County from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday.
NWS is expecting an accumulation of around 2 to 3 inches of snow. Precipitation will start as rain before changing over to snow during the Thursday morning commute.

The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute. NWS advises residents to stay vigilant and prepare for slippery road conditions.
