With Montgomery County in Phase 2 of reopening, Gaithersburg has relaxed its restrictions on public playgrounds. Since Friday at 5 p.m., visitors are free to use the facilities as long as they follow public health guidelines.
The playground equipment is not sanitized according to Gaithersburg city’s website. They recommend washing hands before and after playing in the parks, not visiting parks if sick and refraining from touching surfaces. Gaithersburg residents will need to practice social distancing and wear masks when visiting.
More information on Gaithersburg’s restrictions and updates can be found on their website’s COVID-19 news page.
