A woman was assaulted while walking on Sligo Creek Parkway near the intersection of Three Oaks Drive in Silver Spring, according to the Maryland-National Capital Park Police.
On Sunday, Oct. 15 at 3:55 p.m., a man grabbed the victim’s buttocks according to police. When she turned to confront him he fled. police said.
The suspect was described as a 5-foot, 8-inch light-skinned young male wearing a teal blue windbreaker with a brown or tan cloth backpack. His face was covered by a black ski mask.
Police have increased patrols in that area.
