The recipients of the 2023 “Women Making History Award” will be honored at the Women Making History Celebration and panel discussion Thursday, March 16 at the Silver Spring Civic Building. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
Recipients who must live or work in the county were nominated by peers. Criteria included selfless leadership, hard work, inspiring others and either developing or supporting programs for social change.
32 women will be awarded for their significant achievements and contributions. Each will be featured on the Montgomery County Commission for Women and Montgomery Women’s social media platforms throughout the month of March.
All month long, the Montgomery County Commission for Women and Montgomery Women will honor the women who are making history in our community.
