Your Guide to Some of MoCo’s Best Oktoberfest Events

Every fall, the annual German beer festival brings Oktoberfest to life. The 186th Oktoberfest celebration is an autumn tradition not to be missed. The annual celebration held in Munich, Germany celebrates beer, German cuisine, and Bavarian culture. Festivities usually kick off in late September and continue through mid-October.  

Montgomery County’s breweries create German-inspired suds and throw street festivals, parties, and other festive events. 

Here is a list of some of the best festivals held in Montgomery County for those interested in grabbing a beer, listening to live music and more:  

Germantown Oktoberfest:
